Gates open at 6:30 PM each show day, but plan on arriving early so that you can take advantage of all Big Stone Gap has to offer. From several outstanding restaurants and museums to the Greenbelt Trail, there is plenty to do before your show begins. Make sure to visit the June Tolliver House, just next door to the theater for a cultural emersion into the late 1800’s, featuring antiques and memorabilia from the Trail over the years.

There will be a preshow for you to enjoy inside the theater once the gates are open, featuring some of the region’s most talented artists. Refreshments are available for purchase inside the theater. There is also a gift store for that perfect souvenir to remember your visit to Virginia’s Official Outdoor Drama! Frequently vendors will be setup outside the theater prior to shows.
